Born on the 7th day of the 3rd month of ...
...the late 70's,Somewhere in Lagos and with my Dad in the Army.
I grew up in Lagos ,i didnt have the kind of chilhood i'd be proud to talk about here ,but overall i grew up under the same circumstances as millions of other African children across the continent.I started school in Command Childrens School,Ikeja.doing OK till i had to leave in 1990 ,following the retirement of my Dad from the army.The reality of that incidence and the changes it brought even before it's wake are also memories i dont cherish very much.We finally left Lagos on the 30th of Nov.1990,seven months after the putsch by Maj. Orkar and his Men(These men ,i've come to realise were Heros of a rare kind,and not like the custume wearing ones i was more familiar with as a kid)I resumed academics at Roots N/P School,in Gbokoand immediately wrote exams that facilitated my gaining admission into GSS Gboko,where i did graduate in 1997.Having not made all my papers in one sitting i was not to enter University untill i wrote again .Where my results turned out to be the best in the whole school,this was CCG,Gboko in 1999.Even after this i still didnt enter university immediately as i was pushed up and down by problems ranging between finances and not knowing someone that mattered or the right people.I finally got admission into BSU IN 2002,to study Business Management.And today,as God would have it i'm now in my final year,and even though i'm not one of the best in my class(Against my initial plans,but largely beyond my control)I'm "The Most Technologically Inclined Student".I alos have magnificient interets in Information Technology(IT),thats why i wrote on "The role of IT in the delivery of Banking Services:A case study of Standard Trust Bank,Makurdi"I was also among the over 3000 candidates that sat for NIIT Scholarship exams on the 18th of Oct,2004 at National Universities Commision,Abuja,and i emerged among "The 1st 100"with a GMAT Score of A++,even if i spent only eight hours preparing for it.I was over joyed as i saw myself headed in my area of interest:IT and and not just that i saw myself on a good footing to stepping out of this country in search of Greener pastures,even as i write thie today ,i have my Admission letter from Oracle University in UK amongst my credentials.Lest i forget "The Schorlarship only offered a waiver of =N=200,000 depending on your performance in the exams and the interview",so having scored that well i still have to pay =N=125,000 for admission neccesities and study materialstraight from Oracle University in UK.This website is just one of the means i intend to use to raise that money ,since i hardly have any where else to turn to for that kind of cash. i know i could raise that kind of money ,or maybe just a good portion of it by running around begging relatives and friends ,but you see there comes a joy from having done things for yourself,a joy that cannot be explained.You might not understand untill you see people like Gbenga Adenuga,Dangote,Chief Chris Uba,Chief MKO Abiola,Bill Gates,Nicholas Negroponte,Ted Turner and other big time self made successes smileand try to compare the percieved fulfilment to that of those that have made their money from ill gotten means or through other peoples sweat.Now that is the kind of person i am .I might walk slowly but i never walk back,i aim for the moon even when my strenght can only afford to shoot for the stars .I might have made Business mistakes (which i have hardly told any one ,because i prefer to learn from them rather than look at them as stumbling blocks instead of stepping stones).If you know me in person you'll agree that i have lots of friends,not because i have too much to offer,but i think it's basically because i wear a smile as often as i can afford to and maintain a listening ear,as i have come to find out that these two things draw people to you like nothing else,besides for what do we live if not to make the world a better and less difficult place for eachother.
